Larry D. Thomas, MD, FACS, FCCP, FICS, attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences/College of Medicine in Little Rock, AR, and received his medical degree in 1976. Then, he served his internship at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA. Furthermore, he conducted his general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL. In addition, he completed a second fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA.
